Skill Work
Our skill workouts are a combination of technical and functional game-like drills. We emphasize teaching fundamental footwork, shooting, ball-handling, passing, offence and defence designed to help athletes challenge their potential. We provide immediate feedback to ensure each athlete remains accountable for their set goals.
Fitness
We offer a balanced athletic development of all physical performance components: ABCs (Agility, Balance, Coordination), strength, power, speed, endurance, and flexibility.
Game Awareness & IQ
We use mindfulness techniques as a basis for our teaching. We help athletes to understand the game and learn the importance of details, basketball decision training, and small-sided games.

Welcome to Jaxx City Basketball Academy Youth Development, an organization offering basketball Training for youth 5-14 years old on a weekly basis.
- Fundamental Movement Skills: FMS provides the “building blocks” of physical literacy and activities. Categories include: balance, running, jumping, catching, throwing, skipping, leaping and hopping.
- Foundational Basketball Skills: Basketball skills centred around ball-handling, shooting, offensive moves, defence, and inside play & rebounding.
- Confidence and self-esteem: A safe environment where children can learn about success, failures, taking risks and supporting teammates.
